Ten Sports now on Sri Lanka’s Dialog TV

Ten Sports has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Dialog Satellite TV for direct-to-home (DTH) distribution in Sri Lanka.

Announcing the news, Chris McDonald, CEO, Taj Television Limited, said, “We are delighted to have finalised a carriage agreement with Dialog TV. Sri Lankan sports enthusiasts will now be able to view the best of cricket on the Dialog TV platform. Ten Sports has the exclusive broadcast rights of matches that include the Sri Lankan team in Sri Lanka. Later this year, Ten Sports will broadcast the keenly anticipated England tour of Sri Lanka.”

Mark Denton, Vice President-International Sales, Taj Television Limited, added, “We are excited about our partnership with Dialog TV, one of Sri Lanka’s most dynamic companies, and believe that we will now see strong growth in pay television throughout the country.”

Speaking on the agreement between Dialog TV and Ten Sports, Nushad Perera, General Manager-Sales and Marketing, Dialog TV, said, “With the addition of Ten Sports, we have completed our sports bouquet, and provide our customers with the largest and most comprehensive offering in terms of sports coverage. With Dialog TV, the Sri Lankan consumer would now avail the best of sports entertainment and value for money.”
