Ten Sports has inked a deal with MotoGP, acquiring the rights to telecast the Moto Grand Prix for the next three years. As part of the deal, all the 18 races in 2006 season as well as the complete 2007 and 2008 seasons will now be available live on the India and Pakistan beam of Ten Sports.

Chris McDonald, CEO, Taj Television Ltd, owners of Ten Sports, said, “In the last couple of years, we have developed a substantial and growing viewer ship for MotoGP and are delighted to cater to their interests with this new contract.”

India’s much anticipated cricket tours to Pakistan and the West Indies, England’s tour of Pakistan, the Champions Trophy Hockey and the US Open tennis championship are some of the major sporting attractions that the viewers can look forward to on Ten Sports, on either the Indian, Pakistani or Middle East beams in the coming months.
