TAM Ratings: Zee at No. 3 slips in household ratings, gains in individual ratings

In week 18 (April 26 – May 2, 2015) of the Hindi GEC universe saw Star Plus gain the most during the week. Life OK too saw its ratings grow during the week. Most of the other top Hindi GECs saw a decline in ratings during the week.

According to TAM data for week 18 CS4+ HSM markets without LC1 on household and individual data, Star Plus increased its ratings to 565 GRPs in week 18 from 549 GRPs in week 17 in terms of household data and increased to 239 GRPs in week 18 from 227 GRPs in week 17 in terms of individual data.

Colors saw its ratings dip more in households to 458 GRPs in week 18 from 471 GRPs in week 17. While in individual data its ratings declined to 198 GRPs in week 18 from 202 GRPs in week 17.

Zee TV at No.3 spot declined in terms of household data but saw its ratings in individual data saw a marginal rise. In terms of households it declined to 362 GRPs in week 18 from 368 GRPs in week 17, while its ratings increased to 164 GRPs this week from 161 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

Life OK saw its ratings increase from 314 GRPs in week 17 to 328 GRPS in week 18 in household data and increased to 138 GRPs in week 18 from 128 GRPs in week 17.

Sab TV saw a marginal decline in ratings this week to 274 GRPs from 278 GRPs in week 18 in terms of household data and declined to 126 GRPs in week 18 from 127 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) saw its ratings take a hard hit in terms of household data but saw a marginal decline in individual data. For household it declined to 219 GRPs in week 18 from 247 GRPs in week 17 and declined to 100 GRPs in week 18 from 101 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

&TV too saw its ratings decline both on individual and household data. In household it declined to 113 GRPs in week 18 from 119 GRPs in week 17 and in individual data declined to 50 GRPs in week 18 from 51 GRPs in week 17.

Star Utsav declined to 55 GRPs in week 18 from 60 GRPs in week 17 in household data and declined to 28 GRPs in week 18 from 30 GRPs in week 17.

Zee Anmol declined to 57 GRPs in week 18 from 62 GRPs in week 17 in household and declined to 27 GRPs in week 18 from 30 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

Rishtey increased to 52 GRPs in week 18 from 47 GRPs in week 17 in household data and increased to 25 GRPs in week 18 from 21 GRPs in week 17 in terms of individual data.

Sony Pal saw its ratings increased to 50 GRPs in week 18 from 49 GRPs in week 17 in household data. In terms of individual data the ratings of the channel stayed the same at 23 GRPs.

Big Magic saw its ratings decline this week in household data to 29 GRPs from 31 GRPs in week 17. In individual data it declined to 14 GRPs in week 18 from 15 GRPs in week 17.

Channel V saw its ratings stay the same at 36 GRPs from last week in household data and saw its ratings increase to 14 GRPs in week 18 from 13 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

DD National saw its ratings decline to 23 GRPs in week 18 from 25 GRPs in week 17 in household data and stayed the same as in last week to 11 GRPs in individual data.

Zindagi saw its ratings decline to 21 GRPs in week 18 from 23 GRPs in week 17 in household data and stayed the same at 9 GRPs from last week in terms of individual data.

Epic saw its ratings decline this week to 14 GRPs from 15 GRPs in week 18 in household data and declined to 5 GRPs in week 18 from 6 GRPs in week 17 in individual data.

Sahara One saw its ratings decline to 5 GRPs in week 18 from 6 GRPs in week 17 in household data but increased to 3 GRPs this week from 2 GRPs last week in terms of individual data.

Zee Smile saw its ratings decline to 5 GRPs in week 18 from 6 GRPs in week 17 in households and stayed the same as last week at 2 GRPs in individual data.
