TAM ratings: News X climbs to No.2 spot; CNN-IBN falls to No.4 spot

In week 27 (June 28 – July 4, 2015) of the TAM ratings for English news channels, News X gained the maximum and moved to No.2 spot from No.4 spot last week. On the other hand, CNN-IBN dropped the maximum ratings to fall from No.2 spot last week to No.4 spot in this week.

According to TAM data All India 1million+ with metros market CS 25+ Males AB, Times Now saw its ratings increase to 656 GVTs in week 27 from 642 GVTs in week 26.

News X gained the second spot with a large rise in ratings to 265 GVTs in week 27 from 209 GVTs in week 26.
India Today TV stayed at No.3 spot despite a drop in ratings this week. The ratings dropped to 243 GVTs in week 27 from 290 GVTs in week 26.

CNN-IBN slipped to No.4 spot as its ratings took a large dip to fall to 167 GVTs this week from 318 GVTs last week.

NDTV 24x7 saw their ratings dip marginally to 164 GVTs this week from 167 GVTs last week.
