TAM ratings: Colors rises to No.1 spot yet again; Star Plus slips to No.2 with a decline in week 41 ratings

In week 41 (October 04 -10, 2015) of the TAM ratings, Colors took the No.1 spot, followed by Star Plus at No.2 spot. Colors rose to No.1 spot this week as its ratings grew, while Star Plus’ ratings slipped during the week. Sony TV rose to No.5 spot with a large rise in ratings, while Life OK slipped to No.6 spot.

According to TAM data week 41, HSM without LC1 markets CS4+, Colors’ ratings rose to 247 GRPs from 228 GRPs in week 40. In terms of GVTs, the channel’s ratings grew to 399 million GVTs this week from 369 million GVTs last week.

Star Plus slipped to No.2 spot with a decline in ratings this week to 231 GRPs from 248 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs the ratings declined to 373 million GVTs this week from 401 million GVTs last week.

Zee TV’s ratings grew to 149 GRPs in week 41 from 137 GRPs in week 40. In terms of GVTs the channel’s ratings grew to 241 million GVTs this week from 221 million GVTs last week.

Sab TV at No.4 spot saw its ratings decline to 123 GRPs this week from 135 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs the channel’s ratings declined to 199 million GVTs in week 41 from 218 million GVTs in week 40.

Sony TV climbed to No.5 spot as its ratings rose to 122 GRPs in week 41 from 109 GRPs in week 40. In terms of GVTs it increased to 197 million GVTs from 176 million GVTs last week.

Life OK slipped to No.6 spot as its ratings declined to 121 GRPs in week 41 from 132 GRPs in week 40. In terms of GVTs, the ratings increased to 196 million this week from 213 million last week.
