TAM ratings: Colors continues to grow its leadership at No.1 spot; Star Plus' ratings continues to drop

In week 38 (September 13 – 19, 2015) of the Hindi GEC Universe TAM data saw Colors at grow its lead at the No.1 spot. Star Plus on the other hand saw its ratings continue to decline at No.2 spot.

According to TAM data week 38 HSM without LC1 markets CS4+, Colors increased its lead in pole position as the ratings grew to 237 GRPs from 232 GRPs in week 37. In terms of GVTs the channel saw its ratings rise to 384 million GVTs this week from 375 million GVTs last week.

Star Plus’ ratings continued to slip this week as it dropped to 222 GRPs in week 38 from 230 GRPs in week 37. In terms of GVTs it declined to 359 million GVTs in week 38 from 371 million GVTs in week 37.

Zee TV saw its ratings decline marginally to 152 GRPs in week 38 from 156 GRPs in week 37. The channel also saw a marginal decline in terms of GVTs as its ratings declined to 245 million GVTs this week 252 million in week 37.

Sab TV at No.4 spot saw a marginal increase in ratings which helped it stay ahead of Life OK. The channels ratings rose to 124 GRPs in week 38 from 123 GRPs in week 37. In terms of GVTs too the ratings saw a similar increase as it rose to 201 million GVTs this week from 199 million GVTs last week.

Life OK at No.5 spot saw a large increase in ratings and stopped short of taking No.4 spot. The channel’s ratings rose to 123 GRPs in week 38 from 113 million GRPs in week 37. In terms of GVTs its ratings rose to 198 million GVTs this week from 183 million GVTs last week.

Sony TV at No.6 spot saw its ratings drop to 87 GRPs this week from 106 GRPs last week. In terms of GVTs its ratings has dropped to 141 million GVTs this week from 172 million GVTs last week.
