TAM ratings: CNN-IBN jumps to No.2 spot; India Today TV falls to No.3 spot

The English news genre in week 26 (June 21 – 27, 2015) has seen a dramatic rise of CNN IBN to second spot from the No.5 spot last week, while India Today TV had slipped to No.3 spot.

According to TAM data All India 1 million+ with metros CS25+ Males AB, Times Now remained at No.1 spot despite a loss in ratings this week. The ratings dropped to 642 GVTs in week 26 from 702 GVTs in week 25.

CNN IBN’s ratings leapfrogged to 318 GVTs this week from 129 GVTs to take No.2 spot on the ratings chart.

India Today TV saw a decline in its ratings to 290 GVTs in week 26 from 341 GVTs in week 25 and fell to to No.3 spot.

News X too saw a ratings decline this week to 209 GVTs from 279 GVTs in week 25.

NDTV 24x7 declined in ratings to 167 GVTs from 196 GVTs in week 25.
