Suresh Selvaraj bids adieu to Asianet

Suresh Selvaraj, Executive Director and CEO, Asianet News Network (ANPL) has put in his papers.

Shyam Sundar, earlier CEO, Jupiter Media and Entertainment Ventures, the holding company of ANPL, will be replacing Selvaraj and will be at the helm of Asianet.

Sundar confirmed the news to exchange4media, though he did not reveal any further details.

Selvaraj’s next destination is unknown. He was last with Outlook Group in a 13-year stint as President. He has worked with companies such as Sun, Times Group, Deccan Herald and The Statesman.

Sundar has more than two decades of experience. He started his career with Amco Batteries and Madura Coards, moving on to Asia Brown Boveri Limited, where he worked as Controller – South Asia Region for 14 years. He joined Bangalore International Airport Limited in 2007 and then moved to Jupiter Media and Entertainment Ventures as CFO and Business Head of Suvarna News. He then moved up the corporate ladder to become the Executive Director and CEO of the company.
