Sun TV Q2 FY14 net up 11.55% at Rs 169.16 cr

Sun TV Network has reported an increase of 11.55 per cent in its Q2 FY14 net profit at Rs 169.16 crore, as against Rs 151.65 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiacal.

Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 were up 7.63 per cent at Rs 466.41 crore, as against Rs 433.34 crore in Q2 FY13. Total income was up 13.83 per cent at Rs 504.21 crore in Q2 FY14, as compared to Rs 442.95 crore in Q2 FY13.

During the second quarter ended September 30, 2013, the EBITDA was up by 2.64 per cent at Rs 337.68 crore as compared to Rs 329.01 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

As is known, Sun TV Network operates channels across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages, besides airing FM radio stations across India.
