Sun TV Q1 net up 10 pc at Rs 187.62 cr

Sun TV Network Ltd has reported a 10 per cent rise in its Q1 FY12 net profit at Rs Rs 187.62 crore, while it has posted a 3 per cent growth in its Q1 revenues at Rs 453.99 crore.

The growth in the revenues has been attributed to the sustained growth in advertising and subscription revenue contributed through a well-diversified mix of clients across categories.

EBITDA for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, grew marginally by 1.67 per cent to Rs 365.92 crore as compared to Rs 359.90 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
