Subhash Chandra takes charge; Sandeep Goyal on a sabbatical

In lines with expectations, Sandeep Goyal has vacated the seat of Group Broadcasting CEO. He would, however, remain connected with the Network as an advisor. The core team members including Apurva Purohit and Prashant Sanwal would now report directly Subhash Chandra.

And as was anticipated on the basis of recent happenings in the group, Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Zee Telefilms would now have a hands-on involvement with the day to day affairs of the network. Apurva Purohit, President of Zee TV channel, Prashant Sanwal, Director - Alpha Channels, Laxmi N. Goel, Director - Zee News, Yogesh Radhakrishnan, Director - Zee Music and Zee Cinema, Jagjit Singh Kohli, Director - ETC brands and Ajay Trigunayat, Vice President - Zee English and Zee MGM would now be directly reporting to Subhash Chandra.

Chandra announced a three pronged strategy for the group which includes focus on programming excellence, multi-pillar channel approach built around the Zee TV flagship and build operational efficiencies to drive shareholder value.
