Star World introduces new series: ‘For Love or Money’

Star World is ending January with an unscripted drama series, For Love or Money. The new series revolves around a man, many women and a price, more or less on the lines of Meet Joe Millionaire. It takes the Thursday 9 p.m. slot on the channel beginning January 22.

Apart from international series and Indianised content, such shows form a significant part of Star World’s line up. Jordan Murphy will host the six-episode series. Like Meet Joe Millionaire, in this series too, an unexpected turn of events in the fourth episode will take the series to a whole new level.

Also, as tent pole programming for the month end, the channel is presenting the television special feature, Sting: Inside the Songs of Sacred Love on Wednesday January 21 at 9:00 p.m.

Released to tie in with Sting's 2003 album Sacred Love, a collection of hits from both his solo career and his time with The Police. Filmed in Malibu and Los Angeles, California, the majority of the material in this program is new, including interviews with Sting and his band, rehearsal and documentary footage, and a special duet with Mary J. Blige.
