Star Plus, Zee Anmol lead urban & rural markets respectively in week 40

According to BARC Ratings for week 40 (1-7October, 2016), in the urban markets, Star Plus, Colors and Zee TV held on to the top three spots.Zee Anmol topped the Hindi GEC rural chart and Star Utsav slipped one place to the second spot.

Urban:

Star Plus retained the top spot with 458 million impressions as compared toweek 39’s 456 million impressions.

Colors even remained at the second spot with 392 million impressions as compared to last week’s 370 million impressions.

Sony Entertainment Television climbed to the third spot with 293 million impressions as compared to week 39’s 298 million ratings.

Zee TV slipped to the fourth spot with 286 million impressions as compared to previous week’s 300 million impressions.

Life OK retained the fifth place with 275 million impressions as compared to previous week’s 265 million ratings.

Rural:

Zee Anmol topped the Hindi GEC rural chart with 382 million impressions as compared to last week’s 338 million impressions. It climbed one spot ahead.

Star Utsav slipped one place to number second with 314 million impressions as compared to last week’s 346 million impressions

Sony Pal retained the third place with same 304 million impressions ratings.

Rishteyalso remained at the fourth place with 261 million impression ratings as against week 39’s 239 million impressions.

Remaining at the fifth spot was Star Plus with 219 million impressions as compared to last week’s 233 million impressions.
