Star Plus reclaims top spot collectively in Hindi GEC @BARC week 22

According to BARC data for week 22 (May 27–June 2), Hindi GEC Star Plus returned to claim the top spot in the Hindi GEC category (collectively) with 648 million impressions. It was followed by Sony Pal with 591 million impressions and Zee TV with 528 million impressions.

Star Plus continued to dominate the urban market with 440 million impressions. Similarly, in the rural market, Sony Pal continued to lead in the same week with 444 million impressions.

Urban Market

Star Plus continued to top the urban market with 440 million impressions, compared to 453 million impressions it had in Week 21.

Zee TV retained its second spot with 306 million impressions as against the 404 million impressions it fetched the previous week.

Colors maintained its third spot with 298 million impressions as against the 321 million impressions it fetched the previous week.

Sony SAB held on to its fourth spot with 264 million impressions as against its 284 million impressions it garnered in Week 21.

Sony Entertainment Television also retained its fifth position with 264 million impressions as against previous week’s 252 million impressions.

Rural Market

Sony Pal continued to dominate the rural market with 444 million impressions.

Rishtey retained its second spot with 375 million impressions compared to the 387 million impressions it garnered last week.

Zee Anmolstayed on the third spot with 333 million impressions as against the 368 million impressions it fetched in Week 21.

Star Utsavclimbed to the fourth spot with 305 million impressions.

Zee TV slipped to the fifth spot with 221 million impressions.
