According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for CS 4+ HSM Markets Week 8, Star Plus continues to lead the Hindi general entertainment space with 248 GRPs, after dropping 11 points since Week 7 (259 GRPs). Colors has regained the second position with 235 GRPs, remaining 13 points behind Star Plus.
At number three is Zee TV with 231 GRPs, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 188 GRPs, which has gained 24 points since last week (164 GRPs).
At number five, the sister channel from STAR India’s stable Life Ok continues to remain ahead of Sab TV with 144 GRPs, followed by Sab TV Network with 138 GRPs – both managing to garner two points since last two weeks each and moving ahead.
Star Utsav garnered 51 GRPs in Week 8; last week also it was at 51 GRPs.
The top ten fiction shows on the Hindi GEC space were Diya Aur Bati Hum (4.6TVR), Balika Vadhu (4.3 TVR), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (4.2 TVR), Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Madhubala (3.8), Sasural Simar Ka (3.7), Sapane Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Saath Nibhana Saathiya (3.6 TVR) and Pyar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha and Qubool hai (3.5 TVR).
In the non-fiction genre, Zee TV’s India’s Best Dramebaaz managed to clock a TVR of 3.5, while the Filmfare Awards on Sony Entertainment Television garnered 3.6 TVR.
