Star Plus continues to lead Hindi GEC @BARC Week 23

According to BARC data for week 23 (June 3–9), Hindi GEC Star Plus retained the top spot in the Hindi GEC category (collectively) with 617 million impressions. It was followed by Sony Pal with 539 million impressions and Rishtey with 530 million impressions.

Star Plus continued to dominate the urban market with 406 million impressions. Similarly, in the rural market, Sony Pal continued to lead in the same week with 402 million impressions.

Urban Market

Star Plus continued to top the urban market with 406 million impressions, compared to 440 million impressions it had in Week 22.

Zee TV retained its second spot with 289 million impressions as against the 306 million impressions it fetched the previous week.

Colors maintained its third spot with 286 million impressions as against the 298 million impressions it fetched the previous week.

Sony SAB held on to its fourth spot with 282 million impressions as against its 264 million impressions it garnered in Week 22.

Sony Entertainment Television also retained its fifth position with 237 million impressions as against previous week’s 264 million impressions.

Rural Market

Sony Pal continued to dominate the rural market with 402 million impressions.

Rishtey retained its second spot with improved 398 million impressions compared to the 375 million impressions it garnered last week.

Zee Anmol stayed on the third spot with 380 million impressions as against the 333 million impressions it fetched in Week 22.

DD National climbed to the fourth spot with 256 million impressions.

Star Utsav slipped to the fifth spot with 243 million impressions.
