Star India appoints Adyanthaya as programming head

Star India has appointed Keertan Adyanthaya as programming head of Channel [V], Star Movies and Star World. The move comes as a part of the organisational restructuring that Star India has been instituting. Adyanthaya replaces Devika Sharma, who was vice-president- incharge of programming at Channel V and will be reporting to Star India chief operating officer Sameer Nair.

Tarun Katial, VP, programming for Star Plus, Star Movies and Star World, will now be solely in charge of Star Plus which will also include its public relations and marketing.

Prior to this appointment, Adyanthaya was an account director at MindShare Fulcrum.
