STAR India’s mobile entertainment PLUS has roped in new partners. The strategic partnerships with personal financial portal Myiris.com, Zoom TV, UK’s The Sun, and the National Geographic Channel would enable consumers to access a myriad world of information ranging from entertainment to business news.
STAR Mobile Entertainment has tied up with Myiris.com for providing business and financial information and news to all PLUS subscribers. Under this tie-up, Myiris.com would provide content like top market news, company news, sector news and mutual fund news. Initially the service would be offered free to PLUS subscribers.
Also, this tie-up brings The Sun into the Indian market through the mobile content space. Zoom TV would be the first third party channel to be added on PLUS under the genre of TV. Through this tie-up users can access Bollywood news, animations, wallpapers channel promo videos and Electronic Program Guide (EPG). National Geographic Channel would provide specialised and exclusive content like special animal ring tones.
