Shruti Bajpai appointed Country Manager (India), HBO South Asia

Shruti Bajpai, Director – Marketing, HBO South Asia has been promoted to the newly created position of Country Manager (India).

A marketing professional, Shruti Bajpai joined HBO in Nov 2000 and has been involved with the channel since its launch. As Director – Marketing, her responsibilities involved conceptualizing, devising and implementing marketing programmes for HBO along with the overall management of its India liaison office.

In her new position, Bajpai will continue to oversee all marketing and media relations’ activities as well as the management of HBO’s distribution and ad sales tie-up with Sony. Her responsibilities also focus on business development opportunities for HBO in the region.

James P. Marturano, Managing Director HBO South Asia, says, “Shruti has been instrumental in developing the HBO brand in the extremely competitive Indian market. We are confident that she will continue to drive and expand HBO's presence in India.” Prior to joining HBO, Shruti was Brand Manager at Nestle India Ltd.
