Shailesh Kumar, Editor-in-Chief & CEO, News Nation puts in his papers

Shailesh Kumar has put in his papers as Editor-in-Chief and CEO of news channel News Nation. While confirming the news to exchange4media, Kumar added that he is not joining any other organisation at present, will be working towards his own venture.

News Nation channel was launched under the leadership of Kumar. Prior to joining the channel, the veteran journalist was with Alpha Media Group, where he had the responsibility of launching the group’s national channel and several regional channels. He quit the group after a short stint.

Earlier, Kumar was associated with TV Today Group’s Aaj Tak channel for several years, where he had been the Executive Editor. At the time of his resignation from Aaj Tak, he had been shifted from his position of Input Head and was given the responsibility of launching the group’s Hindi newspaper.

Kumar also had a 15-year association with print media, during which he held several key positions in publications such as Navbharat Times, Ravivar and Amrit Phabhat.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
