Satish Jacob commissioned to do travelogue show for Sahara Samay NCR

Eminent broadcast journalist and former India correspondent of BBC World, Satish Jacob, has been roped in by Sahara TV to do a programme for its NCR channel, Sahara Samay NCR.

This weekly travelogue show on Delhi, ‘Dill Jo Ek Shahar Tha’, went on air recently. The show, anchored by Jacob, is the documentation of the glorious past of Delhi and unravels its rich heritage.

Prabhat Dabral, Vice-President and Head of News, Sahara Samay Channels, told exchange4media that besides anchoring the show, Jacob was fully involved in scripting and production of the show, which was slated to run for over a year.

According to Dabral, Jacob would be doing another show for Sahara Samay NCR – this time an interesting one on the haunted houses of Delhi.
