SaharaOne launched

Sahara India Pariwar has launched SaharaOne which will be the umbrella for its four businesses in the entertainment industry - motion pictures, radio, television and special identity. This comes after Sahara had formed a management joint venture (JV) termed Sahara India Media Entertainment Management with Percept. This will act as a management company for all initiatives under SaharOne. Percept IMC joint managing director Shailendra Singh will head the new venture.

According to joint venture COO Peter Issac, SaharaOne will focus on different entertainment avenues. “We have the opportunity of offering entertainment concepts across different avenues,” said SaharaOne president (sales, marketing & distribution).

Sahara India Pariwar has outlined an investment of over Rs 1,500 crore over the next three years. KPMG and E&Y have been appointed to help develop synergies in these four businesses and adopt best practices in the global entertainment industry.
