Sahara Samay reshuffles its sales & marketing team

There is quite a lot of action happening at the Sahara Samay stable in the Sales and Marketing division. Not only is the organisation inducing people at the mid and lower level management, but official sources express that Satish Menon, who is President, Sales and Marketing, Sahara, will now be looking at Sahara Samay.

Menon has the custodianship of SaharaOne. Sahara sources inform that even as SaharaOne is still looking for someone to fill in the marketing post, Menon will be looking at his new assignment soon in Sahara Samay.

Sahara Samay has various regional channels apart from the national channel, Sahara Samay Rashtriya in the group. As for SaharaOne, the channel's spokesperson Peter Isaac informed that a decision on the new man will be taken soon.

The Sahara Samay source said, "Satish Menon's role has not been crystallised yet but he will have the responsibility of all the news channels."

Even as the top management itself is witnessing such changes, the mid-management too is being beefed up. Sahara Samay's Marketing and Sales head, Sandeep Singh, said, "We thought that we don't have enough people in sales. We are in the process of hiring people at different levels now to address that."

One of the recent additions is Leji Koshy for the West and South zone as Assistant Vice President. The channel is in the process of finalising a North and East zone head. Another addition is Michael Thomas, who has come in as Sr. Manager. The professionals would be looking after all the channels and will report into Singh.
