SAB TV ropes in media personalities for election analysis

Ahead of its 24-hour current affairs and news channel, SAB TV is introducing a daily 1-hour band of in-depth news and election analysis from March 29, 2004.

Prominent media personalities like Vir Sanghvi, Mrunal Pandey, Swapan Das Gupta, Sidharth Vardarajan, Jyoti Malhotra, Umesh Upadhyay and others have been roped in to do these in-dept analysis.

Apart from this, other SAB TV anchors like Swati Chaturvedi, Harish Gupta and Manoj Raghuvanshi will also participate in the same band. Sanghvi will do a special segment thrice a week. This band will be telecast every night from 10.30 to 11.30 p.m. and every morning from 8.00 to 9.00 a.m.

The analysis will be three days in English and four days in Hindi. The famous art director, Nitin Desai is creating a set design for this particular band. This analysis will continue on SAB TV till the launch of its 24-hour current affairs and news channel.

Harish Gupta has been appointed Director – News & Current Affairs. Gupta is a veteran in journalism. He was Chief Editor of Dainik Bhaskar, Delhi Edition.
