SAB TV launches ‘Sab ka Bheja Fry’ under humour block

In keeping with its youth-centric strategy, SAB TV has announced a new show ‘Sab ka Bheja Fry’ in its humour block. The show would be aired from Monday to Friday in the 10 pm time slot, and will premiere on August 13.

The show will be a half-hour sketch comedy which constitutes three mini sitcoms and gags. Each of four-minute duration, the sitcom would be ‘Sab ka Boss’ (the story of an office loser), ‘Oudhvasta’ (the third epic of India which was never told), and ‘Ustad Janab’ (the story of two policemen).

Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB TV, said, “An unadulterated and original dose of laughter is the best medicine and our show is packed with the right ingredients. ‘Sab ka Bheja Fry’ is a brainchild of creative team at SAB and has been produced after an extensive consumer research and viewer mind mapping. Hence you will see the programming a lot different from the existing sitcoms on air. We at SAB are proud of the fact that ‘Sab Ka Bheja Fry’ is not a just another comedy show.”

The three sitcoms will be interspersed with gags which will have characters like ‘Rakhi Sawant’ -- the worlds biggest flirt, ‘Muft ka Chandan’ -- the miser, ‘Feroze Faltu’ -- the don, ‘Tension Tambi’ -- who always has a reason to worry, and ‘Laila Majnu’ -- a gorgeous babe with no takers.

Featuring artistes known for their comic timings, the show has an impressive line-up of stars which include Suresh Menon, Kunal Kumar, Mannini De, Ali Asgar, and others. The show is directed by Kumar Bhatia and is produced by Contiloe Films.
