S Divaakar starts second innings with TV9 as VP

S Divaakar has started his second innings with Associated Broadcasting Company Limited (ABCL), the company that runs the TV9 Network. He has joined as Vice President – Advertisements and National Sales.

Divaakar will be based in Bengaluru and will report to Cliiford Pereira, Director, TV9.

Talking to exchange4media, Cliiford Pereira said, “I am very happy that Divaakar is back. We are planning to expand our work and are ready to take the growth to the next level.”

This is Divaaksr’s second stint with TV9. He has served the company earlier as AGM - Sales and Marketing for a period of four and a half years.

Prior to this, Divaakar worked with Public TV, a company owned by Writeman Media, as Vice President – Sales and Marketing.

Divaakar has more than 19 years of experience. He started his career with Udaya TV. He has also worked with some of the major broadcast players such as Gemini TV, Zee Network and Sahara One.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
