Pragya TV to go on air from today with ‘Utho Jago’ at 8 am

Pragya Channel, a venture of Pragya Vision Pvt. Ltd, is going on air from November 24 at 8 am with the programme ‘Utho Jago’, an hour-long show that will discuss holistic life, from Yoga to meditation. The channel has a whole gamut of unique content to cater to all groups, and carry its ‘Live Life Positive’ philosophy throughout.

“Pragya is an effort in carving out a unique journey for Indians, especially the young generation who wish to be part of all that modern civilisation has to offer, yet do not wish to lose the deep connectivity with their roots and traditions. The channel would fill the vacuum created by all existing channels that have failed to fathom the sublime reality of heritage and history. Our programming is depiction of spirituality, reflecting the true entity of India,” explained Meena Tewari, MD, Pragya Visions Pvt. Ltd.

“The entire concept and programming of Pragya has been conceptualised and filmed in a manner which leaves one with positive feeling and energy. Eminent personalities like Suresh Oberoi, Shiv Khera, K Newton and Pranav Pandya, besides many new gems that will be introduced to the Indian viewers for the first time, will keep viewers spellbound,” added Pragyan Bhattacharya, Head-Programming, Pragya Channel.

The list of programmes range from ‘Healthy Platter’, a 30-minute weekly show on health and food; ‘Ek Pankh Ki Udan’, an hour-long weekly show dedicated to people who have fought and survived odds; ‘Ek Aur Eklavya’, dedicated to people who have contributed immensely towards society; ‘Shrines of India’, a 30-minute weekly show on religious shrines of India; ‘Yatrik’, a travelogue on spiritual places like Varanasi, Amritsar and others; ‘Gurukul’, a 30-minute show on traditional education system; and ‘Saundarya’, a show on traditional beauty treatments.

Other shows planned on the channel include ‘Just 4 Women’, ‘Spiritual Science’, ‘Campus Chaupal’, ‘Bhagya Chakra’, ‘Let’s talk Tarot’, ‘CaféSigno’, ‘Aks bar Aks’, ‘’, ‘Accuhealer’, ‘Sanjivani’, ‘Jago re Jago’ and ‘Shiv Khera Show’, among others.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
