Pearl Media will be launching its first serial production venture, ‘Chidambara Ragasiyam’ in the Tamil market. Naga, who has to his credit successful thrillers like Vidadhu Karupu, directs the suspense thriller. The new initiative is a weekly serial and will be aired every Wednesday on Sun TV from June 30 between 8.30 and 9 pm.
Chidambara Ragasiyam revolves around the ancient art of “Nadi Josiyam” and is set in contemporary times with references to ancient Tamil culture. Chidambaram is a place in Tamilnadu, famous for the temple of Shiva (Nataraja Temple). The Nadi art is said to be very popular and diligently practiced there. This unique branch of prediction science is rolled in with a murder mystery with a scientist and journalist thrown in the plot to present the serial concept from a contemporary standpoint. The serial portrays the Nadi art in a neutral manner using that a base for a thriller.
