Pearl Media acquires exclusive rights for two new shows on Gemini TV

Century Communication Ltd, an integrated media and entertainment company with interests in airtime sales, post production of video and film, radio, digital news room services and other growing aspects of the media business, has announced the acquisition of two new shows by its media sales arm, Pearl Media. Pearl Media has bagged exclusive airtime sales rights for two new shows on Gemini TV – ‘Gulabi’ and ‘Anaganagaa Iddharu Istapaddaaru’.

‘Gulabi’ will be telecast Monday to Friday at 12 noon, while ‘Anaganagaa Iddharu Istapaddaaru’ will be telecast Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Gemini TV. With this strategic alliance, Pearl Media will consolidate its position further and will be able to offer better values to its advertisers on Gemini TV.

Commenting on this development Sanjay Reddy, CEO, Pearl Media, said, “Pearl Media is the market leader in media ad sales for general entertainment programmes on South’s major TV channels. With this acquisition, Pearl Media has taken another step forward towards consolidating its ever-growing bouquet of programmes.

According to L G Henry, Head of Acquisition, “Pearl Media has been consistently acquiring shows which are star performers and have been delivering high TRPs and advertisers’ satisfaction for the company.”

Pearl Media currently has 37 hours of programming every week for air time sales for programmes which are telecast on leading broadcasting network of the south – Sun TV Network on channels like Sun TV, Gemini TV, Udaya TV and Surya TV.
