New ETV channels expected to be major hits in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana: Jagdish Chandra

ETV Group has launched four new channels under the Ramoji Banner. The channels launched by the Ramoji Film City Chairman, Ramoji Rao include ETV Life, ETV Cinema, ETV Abhiruch and ETV Plus. An official source privy to this development confirmed the news to exchange4media.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramoji Rao said that the new channels have been launched to add more variety to their existing bouquet of entertainment. The Eenadu website quoted him, “I hope the channels will address the  high expectations of audiences from the ETV channels.”  ETV Plus will showcase entertaining programmes whereas ETV Cinema will telecast evergreen movies along with latest blockbusters. ETV Abhiruchi will target the food lovers with their cookery shows while ETV Life will focus on health and fitness domain.

 Speaking at the launch, Jagdish Chandra, Head, ETV Network Group said, “Ramoji Rao launched four new entertainment channels and I wish all the success to these channels. I expect all these channels to become famous as other channels of this group and it will be a major hit in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.”

The production house has already established itself as the leader in the non-scripted genres. However, Rege now wants Endemol to achieve the same in the original scripted zone and film production
