Network18 hands over pink slips to employees

As indicated by us few days ago (TV and radio broadcasters take a cautious approach to hiring), Network18 has laid off around 300 employees from its editorial and technical departments.

Some sections of the media have reported that this is part of the re-structuring strategy to cut costs and streamline processes.

When contacted by exchange4media, HR and Administration Heads of the company refused to comment.



Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
