Neo Sports has inked a deal with the digital media platform developer and operator The New Media Group (TNMG) for live telecast across Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The telecast began from July 1 this year.
This deal allows viewers in these countries to access the entire bouquet of international and domestic cricket played in India. TNMG will distribute Neo Sports on its World On-Demand IPTV platform.
The announcement also follows closely to Neo Sports’ recently announced deal with several other South East Asian countries.
Shashi Kalathil, Chief Executive Officer, Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd, said, “We aim to reach the Indian diaspora in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Partnering with The New Media Group gives us a huge advantage as they have great reach among this target audience.”
