Neo Cricket to air Tri Nation ODI Tournament from June 8

Barely had the hype and hoopla over the IPL T20 died down when Neo Cricket has sought to whip up some more cricket frenzy in the Sub-continent. The channel will air the Tri Nation ODI Tournament, involving India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, live from June 8. The finals would be played on June 14 in Dhaka.

Beside the matches, Neo Cricket will involve viewers with insightful analysis and comments in its programme ‘Extra Cover’. The programme would be presented by Radhakrishnan Sreenivasan with a guest panel comprising cricketing greats such as Mohinder Amarnath and Waqar Younis.

Mautik Tolia, EVP-Programming, Neo Cricket, said, “India-Pakistan ODIs are the most exciting form of cricket and the Tri Nation’s format in a day/night backdrop provides for unparalleled viewer interests. Neo Cricket as always will enhance viewer experience by enabling viewers to be lot more involved through its interactive programming.”

In future, Neo Cricket will also showcase an unprecedented level of India international cricket with at least four major series, including the Tri Nation Series, the India Vs Australia Series in September-October 2008, and the India Vs England Series in November-December 2008.
