Neeraj Sanan slated to exit from the Focus TV Group as CEO

Neeraj Sanan is slated to exit from his role as CEO of Focus TV Group. Sanan who had joined as CEO in March last year, has just about completed a year in his current role. Sanan confirmed the news to exchange4media.  In his earlier stint of six years, he was Chief Marketing Officer at MCCS, where he was responsible for all the marketing related activities of the flagship news channel of ABP Group, ABP News, ABP Ananda and ABP Majha.

Before joining ABP, he was working as Marketing Head at Web 18 with Network 18 Group. He was the head of marketing for 21 websites including, Ibnlive and others.

With over 19 years of experience, Sanan has worked with brands like Wrigley’s, ICI Paints, Asian Paints and Dabur.

It is also learnt from industry sources that Focus TV is likely to shut down their Bangla and Assamese channels, however sources also maintain that Focus TV  maybe looking to sell these channels, to a national news TV player. There has been no confirmation on this yet.
