NDTV Profit to present business on a golf course in new show

Business deals and golf go hand in hand, that’s the premise of NDTV Profit’s new show ‘Business on Course’, which will feature the country’s top corporate honchos on some of the best fairways across the country. The series premieres on November 18 at 4 pm and will air every Saturday with repeat telecasts on Sundays at 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.

Vikram Chandra, Managing Editor, NDTV Profit, said, “They say 30 per cent of the world’s biggest business deals are sealed on the golf course. NDTV Profit is proud to turn this concept into a show that will bring to the viewers the real masters of the game who have made winning strokes both on and off the field.”

The show will bring exclusive interviews with top notch CEOs over a gaming session of golf – a sport that challenges their physical skills and more importantly mental resilience. Top-notch business executives have been known to use time on the golf course to plan business strategies, gain intimate knowledge of business associates, and strike the biggest deals over a shot on the greens.

‘Business on Course’ spends half an hour every weekend evaluating the golf swing with CEOs on some of the best fairways across the country – Pawan Munjal (Hero Honda), Gunit Chadha (Deutsche Bank, India), Arvind Thakur (NIIT) and V K Sibal (Directorate General of Hydrocarbons), among others.

Discussions will focus on business strategies that they advocated as amateurs, the mistakes they have made and learnt from, how they navigate themselves and their corporations through the intimidating course of business. From interesting golfing lessons that have taught them business prowess and pars for the course to birdies they have scored. A complete show on interesting experiences these businessmen have been through in their lives to be the pros and icons they are today.
