NDTV Profit spruces up programme offering with three new shows

In a bid to further strengthen its business news offering, NDTV Profit is adding three new shows – ‘Major Gainz’, ‘Profit Palette’, which will go on air from August 26, and ‘Reality of Realty’ on air from August 25.

‘Profit Palette’, a fortnightly show, will air on Sundays at 11:30 am. The show will explore the investment potential of Indian art. It will also provide a commentary on the rapidly evolving, but largely untapped, art market. The show aims to be a knowledge base for keen investors of art as well as for art connoisseurs.

‘Major Gainz’ will air every alternate Monday at 8:30 pm and Saturday at 1:30 pm. The programme will include a tête-à-tête section with various fund managers, their art of stock picking and a glimpse of which stocks they view as next generation winners. The fund manager of each show will offer an idea of what he likes or dislikes about Indian markets. The show will also discuss management views of the current galloping growth in industry and companies.

‘Reality of Realty’, a programme focusing on real estate, will present trends of property deals in major metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. It will carry out panel discussions on important aspects of real estate like interest rates on house loans and new projects. This show is slated for Saturdays at 8:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.

Speaking on the new shows, Shivnath Thukral, Managing Editor, NDTV Profit, said, “In two years NDTV Profit has established itself as one of the best business news channels in India by following the philosophy of giving viewers news they can use. These three new shows will provide our viewers insights into key market segments like art, real estate and the stock market.”
