NDTV Labs wins NAB International Broadcasting Excellence Award, 2008

The NAB Show has a lot to offer to the Indian delegates at the event this year. In addition to a Super Session at the event that is dedicated to India, with Indian media gurus in focus this year, NAB also has a winner in NDTV Labs at the NAB International Broadcasting Excellence Award 2008. NDTV Labs will be given this award for developing its product, the nX Paint software.

Established in 1995, the International Broadcasting Excellence Awards recognise NAB international broadcast members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and uniqueness in successfully serving their audience through broadcast innovation or service to the community. The deadline for receiving entries for the Awards was February 11, 2008.

Earlier this year, nX Paint software won accolades after bagging the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association’s CBA-IBC Award for Innovative Engineering.

The NAB Awards will be presented during the International Reception held at NAB’s spring convention in Las Vegas in April 2008. The Award would be accepted by Kawaljit Singh Bedi, Software Architect, NDTV Labs Ltd.

NAB is an international organisation, based in the US. It was established in 1995 to recognise broadcast organisations the world over that have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing the broadcast industry and the services they provide to their community and audiences.
