NDTV Good Times lines up new shows on food, fashion and luxury resorts this Diwali

NDTV Good Times has lined up three new shows this Diwali. While ‘Around the World in 85 Plates’ and ‘Royal Reservations’ will be showcased on November 9, ‘Provogue Autumn-Winter 2007 Collection’ would be aired on November 11.

‘Around the World in 85 Plates’ would showcase sommelier Magandeep Singh as he brings world cuisine and fine wines to the audience. The programme would show exotic wines and local cuisines at the finest tables around the world, and at exclusive clubs and restaurants. Singh would also offer nuggets on food, history and culture, and share expert recommendations on wine that will best complement a particular food item.

‘Royal Reservations’ is devoted to holidaymakers who indulge in royalty and luxury. Host Amrita Gandhi will weave a story within a story, as she would relate the history of India’s palaces and forts, and offer a glimpse of the lavish lifestyle of its erstwhile occupants – from elephant parades, showers of rose petals and a welcoming 21 cannon, fire-cracker salute. The show will also explore the unique journey of the royal families of India, their decadent past and their contemporary role as luxury hoteliers.

Fashion junkies will have a treat with the exclusive coverage of ‘Provogue Autumn-Winter 2007 Collection’. Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan, Esha Deol, and Upen Patel would be seen walking the ramp, as well as the star cast of the upcoming movie ‘Race’ featuring Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy and Akshaye Khanna, who would be walking the ramp for Provogue.
