'Naagin Season 2' continues to rule BARC's Top 10 shows across markets

According to BARC India’s Week 8 (February 18-24) Top 10 Shows list, the second season of ‘Naagin’ on Colors maintained its lead overall with 12 million impressions as well as in the urban market with 7.9 million impressions. The same show on FTA channel Rishtey topped BARC’s Top 10 Shows in the rural market with 8.7 million impressions and maintained its third spot overall with 11.1 million impressions. 

For the same week, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on Zee TV maintained its second spot in the overall market with 11.3 million impressions. It came fourth and seventh in the urban and rural market with 6.3 and 5 million impressions, respectively.

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment Television held on to its second and fourth spot in BARC’s Top 10 Shows in the urban market and collectively fetching 7.1 million impressions and 10.1 million impressions.

Colors’ latest property ‘Shani’ took the fifth and third spots collectively and in the urban market with 9 and 6.4 million impressions, respectively.

Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ on Colors stood fifth in the urban market with 6.2 million impressions and sixth collectively with 9 million impressions.

Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ took seventh and sixth positions in the overall and urban market with 8.8 and 6.1 million impressions, respectively. The same show on Sony Pal retained its tenth spot in the rural market with 4.8 million impressions.

Star Plus’ popular show ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ took the eighth and tenth positions overall and in the urban market fetching in 8.8 and 5.6 million impressions, respectively. While the same show on Star Utsav took the second spot in the rural market with 5.7 million impressions.

Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ claimed the ninth and eighth spots in the overall and urban market with 8.7 and 5.9 million impressions, respectively.

Jio Digital Life Filmfare Awards 2017 took the tenth and seventh spot in the overall and urban market with 8.3 and 5.9 million impressions, respectively.

‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’ on Star Plus took the ninth spot in the urban market with 5.6 million impressions, respectively.

While in the rural market, ‘Jodha Akbar’ on Zee Anmol ranked third fetching 5.6 million impressions.

Sony Pal’s ‘Baalveer’ took the fifth spot in the same market with 5.5 million impressions.

‘Afsar Bitiya’ on Zee Anmol took the fifth spot in the rural market with 5.3 million impressions.

Zee Anmol’s another property ‘Jamai Raja’ took the sixth spot with 5.1 million impressions.

Rishtey’s ‘Udaan’ fetched the eighth spot with 4.8 million impressions.

The same channel’s ‘Naagkanya’ took the ninth spot with 4.8 million impressions.
