MTV’s Ashish Patil and Vijay Subramanium assume higher roles

MTV Networks India has strengthened its creative and ad sales teams by elevating two key members of its senior management team.

Ashish Patil, erstwhile Director of programming, acquisitions and talent and artist relations, has been promoted as Vice-President and General Manager, Creative and Content, MTV Networks India, and will be reporting to Cyrus Oshidar, who heads the portfolio.

Patil will oversee the continued development and drive of the key functions under Creative and Content that comprises production and on-air promotions as well as his previous portfolio.

Another key promotion is that of Vijay Subramaniam, who now takes on the role of Sales Director, MTV. He will be reporting to Nitin Jain, Vice-President, Ad Sales, MTV Networks India.

Subramaniam will be taking on some of the functions of Vineet Puri, who is moving to MTVN Indonesia as Head of Sales. Subramaniam started off his career at MTV as Account Director - South and was later promoted to Group Account Director - South and West.
