Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi displaces Yeh Hai Mohabbatein to take No.2 spot during past month

In the last four weeks of the Hindi GEC show ratings chart, Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV has become the top show and has kept increasing its lead on top. In week 33 (August 9 – August 15, 2015) of the TAM ratings (HSM without LC1 markets), Kumkum Bhagya led on top with ratings of 3.9 TVRs. The show saw its ratings grow much further in week 34 (August 16 – 22, 2015) to 4.48 TVRs. In week 35 (August 23 – 29, 2015), however, the show saw a decline to 3.8 TVRs but managed to stay on top. In the prior week, week 36 (August 30 – September 5, 2015) the show grew once again to 4.09 TVRs and maintained a large lead over other shows.

Though the top place has been a constant for some time, there has however been a fight for the No.2 spot. While in second place the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus was leading four weeks earlier, in week 36 it had dropped down to No.5 place. The top running show has lost its place to Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi on Colors with is at No.2 spot from week 35. In week 33 Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was at No.2 with ratings of 3.4 TVRs, followed closely by Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi at No.3 with ratings of 3.35 TVRs. In week 34 Yeh Hai Mohabbatein ratings were at 3.62 TVRs at No.2 and in No.3 spot Swaragini on Colors was with ratings of 3.41 TVRs. Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi dropped down to No.7 spot with ratings of 3.23 TVRs. In week 35 Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi took No.2 spot with ratings rising to 3.7 TVRs, followed by Swaragini at No.3 spot and ratings of 3.63 TVRs. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein had slipped to No.4 spot with ratings of 3.28 TVRs. Finally, in week 36 Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi extended its lead marginally to 3.75 TVRs at No.2 spot and Swaragini at No.3 spot with ratings of 3.57 TVRs. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein slipped further to No.5 spot with ratings of 3.25 TVRs.

Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat in week 33 was at No.4 spot and in the consequent next two weeks lost its spot only to regain it in week 36. In week 33 the show’s ratings were at 3.34 TVRs and in week 34 it dropped down to 3.02 TVRs and was at No.9 spot. The show’s ratings marginally improved in week 35 as it clocked in ratings of 3.04 TVRs. In week 36 it managed to grow its ratings significantly to 3.29 TVRs and regain No.4 spot.
