Even as work is on for the ‘Come, Play’ campaign for the ICC World Cup 2007, MAX has more on its plate with the Kenstar MAX Stardust Awards 2007 around the corner. The on-ground ceremony was held on February 18, 2007 in Mumbai. The channel is leaving no stone unturned for the marketing the property and has already roped in its media partners.
MAX will telecast the awards on March 3, 2007 in the 9.00 pm slot.
Elaborating on the marketing plans of the event, T Gangadhar, VP - Marketing, MAX, said, “The promotions begin soon with spots planned on our network. In addition to this, we also have spots on other networks like Aaj Tak, Headlines today and IBN-7.” Besides this, Radio Mirchi is the radio partner and the print partners include Dainik Jagran and Hindustan Times.
According to Gangadhar the Stardust promos break on February 24 and would be accompanied by an outdoor campaign on the same date. Euro RSCG is the creative partner on this property as well.
Speaking on the MAX’ expectations from the event, Gangadhar commented, “The turnout was terrific. The star portion present was excellent with celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai amongst others. This will drive the viewership to a large scale.”
With the World Cup also in hand, there is quite a bit happening on the channel.
