Live telecast of Common Wealth Games on Doordarshan

Prasar Bharti will be telecasting Common Wealth Games 2002 on DD Sports, DD National, DD Metro and regional kendras between July 26 and August 5.

Doordarshan will be receiving six simultaneous feed from Manchester, which will be telecast live in Grand Stand basis on DD Sports from 1330 hrs to 0330 hrs. The recorded matches which are not telecast during the live transmission will be shown from 0330 hrs to 1230 hrs (afternoon). The daily highlights produced by BBC covering all games will be telecast from 1230 hrs to 1330 hrs on DD Metro from July 26 to August 4, just before the beginning of the days live telecast with repeat telecast on DD 1 at night.

The live simulcast on DD National in the afternoon and at night will be carried by all regional kendras on terrestrial mode.
