Keeping in mind the deep interest of people in astrology, spiritualism and vaastu, Live India, a Hindi channel focusing on news and commentary from Broadcast Initiatives Ltd, is launching a new show on vaastu shastra called ‘Mera Vaastu, Mera Bhagya’ on July 12 at 4.30 pm. This 30-minute live dial-in programme would be aired on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sudhir Chaudhry, Editor & CEO, Live India, said, “After the great success of our astrology show ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’ and ‘Brahma Vishnu Mahesh’, a mythological serial, we have planned this show on vaastu. So far, there are columns on vaastu in newspapers, but no TV channel has such programmes. Looking at our customer feedback and demand we decided to do this show.”
‘Mera Vaastu, Mera Bhagya’ aims to highlight important topics of life and also explain how vaastu could influence our lives. Viewers can phone in with their queries, which would be answered by renowned vaastu expert Puneet Chawla. Chawla regularly writes columns on vaastu in The Times of India as well.
Chaudhry claimed, “Live India was started in September 2007, and in a short span of 10 months, we have been able to achieve 4.5 per cent market share. We have aggressive expansion plans, which include infrastructure growth. We are in talks with some big names in the industry for strategic tie-ups. Also, we have lined up some new programmes, which would be launched shortly, and are also working on increasing the number of bureaus across India.”
