Live India strengthens editorial talent, launches new programmes

Live India is banking on new talent and shows to get ahead in the TRP race. The channel has recently roped in more editorial talent, and has also launched some new shows on astrology, comedy and crime.

The channel has roped in Kumar Rajesh and Atul Agrawal in its editorial team. While Rajesh has earlier worked for news channels like Aaj Tak, India TV and Sahara TV, Agarwal has worked with IBN7, Zee News, Doordarshan News, Sahara Samay and Jain TV.

According to Sudhir Chaudhary, CEO and Editor, Live India, said, “I am happy to have Kumar Rajesh and Atul Agarwal in our editorial team. They have a vast experience in the work area, and I am sure they would contribute to make Live India a popular television channel.”

‘Meri Deewangi – The Crime Thriller’ on love stories that have gone awry will be hosted by Bollywood actor Nirmal Pandey. With the help of a professional psychiatrist, Pandey will present a psychological analysis of every incident that leads to crime, and try to probe on the real circumstances behind it.

Astrology-based show ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’ will be aired daily at midnight, while ‘Kya Baat Hai’ is a comedy show that will be daily aired at 8 pm.
