Komal Anbarasan steps down as CEO, Makkal TV

After working with Makkal TV for more than nine years, Komal Anbarasan has decided to step down from his position.

He confirmed the news to exchange4media. Anbarasan was elevated to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Tamil channel Makkal TV in 2012. Prior to this he has was Chief News Editor at Makkal TV since 2007.

Anbarasan was earlier associated with Sun TV for five years. He has received several awards, including Best Young Journalist and Best Young Writer award from the Thiruppur Tamil Sangam. He is also the author of the book on practical journalism, titled ‘Seyithigal… Nijamum… Nizhalum’.
