Is IBN7's Ashutosh joining AAP?

Social media has been rife with speculations over Ashutosh joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Ashutosh has confirmed his decision to move on from IBN7, where he has been the Managing Editor. However, he has not revealed his next destination.

Meanwhile, Vinay Tewari, Managing Editor, CNN-IBN, will now also lead IBN7 editorial operations in the same capacity. In this expanded role, Tewari will also drive network synergies at CNN-IBN and IBN7.

Incidentally, Ashutosh is not the first journalist to join AAP, the other media personnel who have the joined the party include Manish Sisodia, who recently took charge as the Education Minister of Delhi, and Shazia Ilmi. 

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
