IPL3 final match breaks records; scores 12.9 TVR for six metros

Controversy probably added audiences to the IPL3 finale. The final match played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on April 25, 2010 has scored a rating of 12.9 TVR in six metros for the C&S 4+ target group. In comparison, IPL2 finale had rated 10.7 TVR and IPL1 had rated 11.7 TVR for the same market and TG.

The highest viewership has come from Mumbai, followed by Chennai. Mumbai delivered 17.8 TVR and Chennai recorded 15.3 TVR.

The six metros included in this TAM Media Research data comprise Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
