INCable Net and ESPN agree on subscription rate

The Hinduja group promoted INCable Net has agreed upon a subscription rate of Rs 24 and connectivity declaration size (number of declared subscribers) till December 2002, part of the terms and conditions put forth by ESPN Software. Services of ESPN and STAR Sports have been off the InCable Network since January 5, 2002. The earlier annual service contract with IndusInd expired on December 31, 2001.

Officials at INCable hope the ESPN Star Sports service will start before the India-West Indies cricket series (beginning April 11, 2002).
