HBO and Star Movies announce April lineup

English movie channels HBO and Star Movies have designed quite a fare for the month of April. The month will see Star Movies launch the much spoken about mini-series ‘The Triangle’ and the second season of ‘Lost’, which saw Star Movies gather some good numbers in the first season.

Additionally, some of the other films that would be telecast on Star Movies in the month include ‘Walk the Line’, ‘The Family Stone’, ‘Into the Blue’ and ‘Chronicles of Narnia’. A channel spokesperson said, “We are very excited about the lineup. Both ‘The Triangle’ and ‘Lost’ are highly acclaimed shows, and ‘Lost’ has done well for us previously. We think the Indian audiences would really be interested in this.”

The show ‘Opening Night’ on the channel will feature movies like ‘Eragon’ and ‘Meet the Robinsons’ this month. On the other hand, HBO titles include the likes of ‘Bewitched’, ‘Mirror Mask’, ‘House of Wax’, and ‘Lords Of Dogtown-Bobby Jones Stroke of Genius’.

The HBO’s ‘Men of Power’ block will showcase movies like ‘Vertical Limit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’, among others, while the ‘Friday Blockbusters’ would feature ‘The Phantom’, ‘Scooby Doo: Monsters Unleashed’ and ‘Resident Evil: Apocalypse’.
